I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2011. I recieved my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Univeristy of Louisiana at Lafayette. I believe that my mission is to provide a comfortable, non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore their feelings and work through adversity. I have more than 20 years of experience working with children as a teacher, school counselor, and as an independent practitioner, helping children and parents to establish lasting bonds with each other. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Liscenced Profesional Counseling Supervisor, as well as a Custody Evaluator and parent mediator in Louisiana.

 

I can help to answer your questions and we can work together to develop plans of action to help your child. I can provide your child with the tools and skills that they need to overcome whatever they are facing, but most importantly, your child will find love of self through this process, growing in confidence and independence.  My hope is that you will find peace, as well.​​

I've been married for 23 years and am a mother of three daughters.  I have the practical experience of being a parent and all of the graces that come from that gift.  I realize that for a large portion of a parent's life, you will be making decisions that can heavily influence the healthy development of your child. As a practitioner, I can vouch that I, too, am learning as a parent along with you.
